Hello! Welcome to my blog, The Floral Beauty.
My name is Dylanne and I am a 17 year old senior who absolutely loves makeup, beauty, and fashion. I have been watching beauty videos, and reading blogs for around 5 years now and Ifinally decided to start my own blog and makeup channel. My blog is going to be first before
my makeup channel, though I do have a channel, just no videos quite yet until I can get good
lighting and camera to begin filming. Though I am very excited to have finally started the
processes of designing my blog, and locking down the channel.
Now I am going to talk more about myself, just to have a post people can refer back to if they
have questions about me and my more personal info.
Like I said, my name is Dylanne like the boys name Dylan. I am 17 years old and going in to
my senior year of high school. My blog and channel name was thought of because of my middle
name, Rose. As well as my love of floral prints and smells, and just flowers in general. Also, it
is very hard to find a beauty related name that is not already taken, most of the blogs that have
taken names don't even have any active posts so it gets very frustrating, but when it comes down to it, it is more personal to have a name no one has thought up yet!
I have a love for English and literature besides just beauty. My favorite author is Shakespeare,
which is a very old one, and John Green for a more current writer.
I have a very decent sized makeup collection that I have built up over the last 3 of the 5 years
that I have been watching YouTube videos. I started out as a 13 year old who only had makeup
I used for the theater and dance productions at that time, when I saw these girls who spent so
much on makeup and had way more makeup than one person could ever use I never imagined
that I would be well on my way to a massive, fairly pricey, collection myself. I definitely have
stuck with certain brands and products from the drugstore, but I enjoy treating myself, or being treated to some luxury products because usually, they are worth the extra bucks!
